De Praatpaal is met pensioen. Dat vertrek zou in een korte tijd hoe dan ook de nodige reacties opleveren. Deze social media campagne moest dit sentiment positief houden en tegelijk de vervangende ANWB Wegenwacht app onder de aandacht brengen.

The suspense drama “Cyanide” explores 7 storylines of impulsive millennial rationale, particularly when placed in complex mental distress. The unexpected anticlimax – and final storyline “TON 618” – delves into the zoo hypothesis, binding the plotlines together. The storylines are shuffled and intertwined, transforming the 90-minute feature-film into a “super-trailer”.

This was probably one of my favorite (but most difficult projects) I've ever filmed. I went to Kurdish Iraq with my best friend for a week to work for Beverly's, that had requested if I could make social content for promotional purposes. It was extremely warm and we were filming non-stop, but the end result is amazing.

In collaboration with Kevin (Tevwoods), we came up with a concept to make a project that revolves around him releasing an album as an artist and what the process is like. In the project a big think was to reflection different aspects that contributed to the establishment of the album.

In this documentary we take a look at how humans interact and how it could be beneficial with gaining knowledge. We also take a look at how people can (mis)use manipulation to achieve certain goals.

The Place I Call Home follows the journey of the South-Asian diaspora in Europe and how it leaves traces behind of desire, conflict and complication for the new generation. What is the place that they define as "home" and why is that?

With the poetry of my friend Hasan Syed (Poetic Alcoholic), this artwork introduces the 'The Place I Call Home' promotions and was filmed in The Hague (where we are based). The main purpose was to show a different perspective of a city in the Netherlands, through the vision of South-Asians and combine this with strong shayari (Urdu poetry).

This short-film came to be after my friend Ayse approached me at a party that she really wanted to work with me on a project about self-acceptance. We agreed to work together, but only if we would both be completely happy with the result. The outcome is magnificent to say the least...

In colab with Mert Bereketoglu, we follow the creation of a new project from scratch, and that is also exactly how we filmed this. Mert had a basic concept of the materials he wanted to use, but trusted me to translate that to film. Together with Arda and Kursat, we created this cool artwork at NDSM Werf in Amsterdam.

Visions follows the story of a once bestselling Kurdish writer, who knows tries to regain the success of her first book "Bitter Work". While she really tries her best, she gets haunted by certain factors in her life and finds it hard to achieve her goal.

21 is a lot of things I find hard to explain in words. This project started when I was 20 and philosophizing about my life until that point. I realized that I had lost a lot of people around me, but gained even more. My personality had developed in a rapid pace and so had my relationship with my family. I finally felt free enough to express my emotions about my sexuality and 21 stands for liberty. The liberty to be you, regardless of them. Be free.
